Through training you will get a dog that is respectful, confident, and behaved. You can only achieve this level of training with an understanding of how dogs learn and communicate. These are stressed in all of my programs. Whether your training goals include basic manners, more advanced obedience, Rally-O, or you would like to teach your dog some complex tricks, I can create a program that will produce results. My programs are especially important for dogs who are dealing with fear or aggression. These dogs need clarity of expectations and clear direction. I will work with you one on one to accomplish this. Many owners then take training into the group programs. Read more about programs offered here. All breeds, mixes, and ages welcome.
The critical learning period for dog is from 3-16 weeks. Since puppies should not leave their mother and litter mates until they are 8 weeks old it fall on the breeder or rescue group to begin puppy training and socialization. Once your puppy is home it is then up to you to continue to help your puppy learn. Unsure about how to pick your breeder or rescue group, what breed or mix is right for you, or what to do once the puppy is home? Email or call to get help! Go to the Pet Selection page for more information on getting started on the right foot with you new dog.
